This policy explains exactly what PetKeeper collects, why, where it's stored, and how you can delete it — in plain language, no legalese padding.
Forneex is the developer and data controller for PetKeeper. For any privacy question, contact us at haideralidev258@gmail.com.
The short version: PetKeeper contains no Facebook SDK, no third-party analytics trackers, and no marketing data-broker libraries. Your pet's medical data is never sold or rented to anyone.
PetKeeper works fully offline with no account. If you choose to sign in with Google to enable cloud sync, we collect a unique account ID, display name, and email address — used solely to identify and isolate your synced data.
Pet identity details (name, species, breed, date of birth, microchip ID), medical records, vaccination history, medication schedules, weight logs, allergies, chronic conditions, veterinary and emergency contacts, care reminders, and expense records — all entered by you.
Scanned veterinary prescriptions, vaccination certificates, lab results, insurance paperwork, and receipts you capture or upload from your device's camera or gallery.
| Permission | Why PetKeeper needs it |
|---|---|
| Camera | Capturing photos of your pet and scanning medical documents directly into the vault. |
| Photos / Media / Storage | Selecting existing photos and document scans from your device to attach to a pet's record. |
| Notifications | Delivering care and medication reminders you've scheduled. |
| Schedule Exact Alarm | Firing medication and care reminders at the exact minute you scheduled — including while your device is idle in deep sleep. Without this, a reminder for an insulin dose or timed medication could be delayed by hours. We never use this permission for anything other than the reminders you set. |
| Boot Completed / Wake Lock | Re-arming your scheduled reminders after your device restarts or its clock/timezone changes, so alarms don't silently stop firing. |
We do not use Facebook's SDK, third-party analytics trackers, or any behavioral-tracking library. If we introduce an advertising service in a future update, this policy will be updated first and the Effective Date above will change to reflect it.
Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the service you've requested (such as cloud backup). Once you delete your account, deletion is verified and permanently completed within 30 days across all systems — see Section 7.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. You can exercise all of these directly in the app (Settings → Backup for export, Settings → Danger Zone for deletion), or by contacting us at haideralidev258@gmail.com.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time, either in-app or via our dedicated Account Deletion page — no login required to submit a request. Deletion erases your cloud records, your stored photos and documents, and everything saved on your device, and disconnects your Google account.
PetKeeper is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that threshold applies), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will remove it.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by an updated Effective Date at the top of this page.
